At Omnisky, we strive to provide the highest quality repair services for your drones and related equipment. This Repair Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which our repair services are provided.

1. Scope of Repair Services

Our repair services cover:

  • Drone Repairs: Fixing mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in drones, including but not limited to motors, propellers, sensors, cameras, gimbals, and flight controllers.
  • Maintenance: Regular maintenance services such as battery checks, firmware updates, cleaning, and calibration.
  • Accessories: Repairs or replacements of drone accessories such as remote controllers, chargers, and landing gear.
  • Diagnostic Services: Comprehensive diagnostics to assess the condition of your drone and identify any potential issues.

2. Repair Process

a. Initial Assessment:

  • Consultation: Contact us to discuss the issue with your drone. Our team will provide an initial assessment and estimate for the repair.
  • Drop-off or Shipping: You can either drop off your drone at our service center or ship it to us. Please ensure the drone is securely packed to avoid damage during transit.

b. Detailed Inspection:

  • Upon receiving your drone, our technicians will conduct a thorough inspection to diagnose the problem and confirm the repair requirements.
  • Quote: After inspection, you will receive a detailed repair quote, including labor and parts costs. No repairs will be performed without your approval.

c. Repair Approval:

  • Approval: Once you approve the repair quote, we will proceed with the repair. If you decline the repair, you may be responsible for a diagnostic fee and return shipping costs if applicable.
  • Timeframe: Repair times vary depending on the complexity of the issue and parts availability. We will provide an estimated completion date at the time of approval.

3. Repair Warranty

  • Coverage: All repairs performed by Omnisky are covered by a 60/90-day warranty (based on the type of repair) on parts and labor. This warranty covers the specific issue that was repaired and any parts that were replaced.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover issues arising from user error, accidents, water damage, unauthorized modifications, or repairs performed by third parties.
  • Warranty Claims: If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, contact us immediately. We will re-evaluate and repair the issue at no additional cost.

4. Non-Repairable Items

In some cases, a drone or accessory may be deemed non-repairable due to extensive damage or the unavailability of replacement parts. If this occurs:

  • Notification: We will notify you promptly and provide alternative options, such as purchasing a new or refurbished drone or accessory.
  • Return: If you choose not to proceed with an alternative option, the non-repairable item will be returned to you, and you may be responsible for the diagnostic fee and return shipping costs.

5. Repair Costs and Payment

a. Estimates and Quotes:

  • All repair estimates are provided free of charge. The final repair cost will be based on the actual work performed and any additional parts required.

b. Payment:

  • Full payment is required upon completion of the repair before the item is returned to you. Payment methods accepted include credit/debit cards, electronic funds transfer (EFT), and cash (for in-person transactions).

c. Additional Charges:

  • If additional repairs are needed that were not included in the initial quote, we will seek your approval before proceeding. Additional charges may apply for expedited services or special requests.

6. Return of Repaired Items

a. Pick-up or Shipping:

  • Once the repair is complete, you can either pick up your drone from our service center or have it shipped back to you. Shipping costs may apply.

b. Inspection:

  • We recommend that you inspect your drone upon receiving it to ensure the repair was completed to your satisfaction.

7. Liability

  • Damage During Repair: Omnisky takes every precaution to protect your drone and accessories during the repair process. However, in the unlikely event of additional damage occurring during repair, we will cover the cost of further repairs or replacement.
  • Pre-Existing Conditions: Omnisky is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or issues not related to the repair work performed.
