BLV BL-CH4 400 UAV Laser Methane Leak Detector

The BLV BL-CH4 400 is a professional drone-mounted methane detection sensor designed for fast, non-contact methane leak detection from the air.

Built on TDLAS — Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy technology, the BL-CH4 400 allows operators to detect methane and methane-containing gases from a distance, reducing the need for ground teams to physically access high-risk or hard-to-reach areas. BLV lists the sensor as suitable for DJI Matrice 350 RTK and DJI Matrice 400 platforms.

The payload supports long-range methane detection, visual inspection, real-time leak location, and cloud-based data transmission. This makes it suitable for enterprise operations where speed, accuracy, safety, and reporting matter: oil and gas pipelines, refineries, chemical plants, landfill methane inspections, offshore gas detection, and fire warning applications.
