What you pay
The same rules that are in your hire agreement, said up front so nothing surprises you. Your quote gives the exact hire fee for your drone and your job.
HIRE FEE
Quoted per job
Packages run from a half day (4 hrs) and a full day (8 hrs) to multi-day or weekly (7 days). The rate depends on the drone and the job, so it is confirmed in your quote.
DEPOSIT
Refundable
Held on every hire and paid back after the return inspection. It is not a cap on what you owe for damage or loss.
BATTERIES
R150 per extra cycle
2 charge cycles per battery are included in the hire fee.
LATE RETURN
Full daily rate
Charged for each day or part of a day that the drone is late.
WITH A PILOT
Priced per job
Your quote states the pilot, the scope, the deliverables and the date.

Valid for 7 days
Accept it and sign the agreement from the same link inside that time.

Get your quote
Within one working day, with the agreement ready to read and sign from the same link.

Confirm and pay
Pay the hire fee and deposit, or the job fee. We verify it and confirm.

Collect, deliver or fly
Pick up in Randburg or have it delivered in Gauteng. Pilot jobs: your pilot arrives on the day.
05
Return and wrap up
Same condition back, a short inspection, and the deposit is paid back.
Flying a hired drone yourself
- Valid SACAA Remote Pilot Licence (RPL) for drones under 7 kg
- South African ID or passport
- Insurance for the project and the equipment, or ask us
- The signed Omnisky hire agreement
- The refundable deposit
No licence? Choose Work done for me and we send a pilot.
Hiring a pilot for your own aircraft
- Your company holds the ROC, insurance and aircraft registration
- The site, date and permissions for the flight
- BVLOS and night operations need extra SACAA approvals
- Within 10 km of an airport you need ATC clearance
