DJI Cell Dongle

The DJI Cellular Dongle (also known as the DJI 4G / LTE Dongle) enables enhanced 4G transmission capabilities by combining traditional OcuSync link with cellular networks. This improves range, penetration, and reliability—especially in environments where OcuSync suffers from interference or line-of-sight issues. DJI calls this feature Enhanced Transmission

It works by dynamically switching or augmenting the transmission link:

• OcuSync strong: uses the standard radio link with minimal data usage
• OcuSync weak: automatically activates 4G fallback
• OcuSync disconnected: operates entirely over 4G for both video and control signals

Common use cases include extended-range operations, missions in obstructed environments (urban, mountainous), and redundancy during transmission path failures.
